Things are heating up… outside and in the kitchen!

Just in time for summer, we’ve got some big things happening at Virtuous Pie. In the next few weeks, we’re celebrating Portland turning two, participating in Taste of Little Italy in Toronto, and making some exciting changes to our menu!

New Season, New menu

It’s time to change things up a bit… our culinary team has been busy in the kitchen to bring you a new menu just in time for summer. We’re so excited to introduce a new salad, new pizzas, and new ice cream flavours later this month. We’re also bringing back an all time favourite – you’ll just have to wait and see what it is.

To make room for our new menu items, we’ll also be saying goodbye to some current ones. You have until Tuesday, June 25 to get your fix of:

PIZZAS:

SPRING INTO SUMMER | Portland Turns Two

On Monday, June 10, our Portland location is turning two years old! Time has flown by, and we’re very grateful to be surrounded by such an incredible community. To celebrate two years, we’re breaking the day up into two parts: day time specials and a community dinner.

Day Time Specials | 11am – 3pm

  • All Day Happy Hour
  • $5 Double Scoops – because we’re two!

Five Course Vegan Dinner | 7-10pm

TICKETS INCLUDE:

5 course plated dinner

(dinner is all vegan, but not gluten free)

BEER + WINE + COCKTAILS:

You are welcome to bring your own beer + wine bottles (no corkage fee), or purchase from our list of local draft beer, wine, or craft cocktails at the event.

chilled sweet corn, pancetta, spring pea, nasturtium, Calabrian chile

COURSE 2.

heirloom tomato terrine, cashew “burrata”, wood sorrel, verjus redux, smoked salt

COURSE 3.

asparagus fritto, romesco, charred onion aioli, lemon

COURSE 4.

maitake, gochujang, green garlic pancakes, fava bean, fermented ramps, Shanxi vinegar

COURSE 5.

Oregon strawberry + “buttermilk” risotto, rhubarb-rosé granita, butter cookie, shiso

Taste of Little Italy

From June 14 – 16, College Street closes to vehicle traffic and The Taste of Little Italy takes over. Over the three days, thousands of people wander through College Street to enjoy live music, vendors, restaurants and carnival rides. We can’t wait to partake with our neighbours and community, and to celebrate, we’ve got some special offers for three days only!
